About the HostsSuperheroes of sex ed, Ken Melvoin-Berg & Sunny Megatron are partners in every sense of the word. In addition to co-producing Showtime’s “Sex with Sunny Megatron,” they initially gained recognition writing and teaching about everyone’s favorite subject, SEX. In their sell-out workshops, their unique brand of “edutainment” plus combined 30+ years of sexuality teaching experience puts students at ease. They host the AASECT Award winning American Sex Podcast and Sunny’s first book, Customizable Kink: A Strategic Guide to Erotic Play will be released in 2022. A Certified Sex Educator and Relationship Coach, Sunny was also awarded XBIZ 2021 Sexpert of the Year. teens. We’re all shocked by the R. Kelly story but remember back in
high school when it was “cool” to date a college-aged person?
Remember when adults in your life didn’t bat an eye at you dating a
legal adult when you were underage? We break this complicated
situation down by reflecting on our own experiences. Some of what
we touched on: hitting puberty early, the over-sexualization of
girls of color, how being sexually objectified as a teen shapes
one's sexuality, Mary Kay Letourneau, the negative impacts of
marrying young, the cultural normalization of teens dating adults,
equating sex with love, why people stay in abusive situations &
more.
